New Sprouts Farmers Market In Philadelphia

Updated: Jul 18

I'm super excited to share that Sprouts Farmers Market has just opened a location in South Philadelphia at 2370 West Oregon Ave!

I have been a fan of Sprouts since the opening of their first location in Philadelphia.  However, it wasn’t the most convenient location for me, BUT this new store is in a plaza I frequent regularly. In fact, I happened to be going to a different store and saw that it was open and I made a mad dash there instead, lol!

This store is a game-changer for health-conscious shoppers on a budget. Sprouts offers an impressive selection of affordable store-brand items that don't compromise on quality or nutrition. From pantry staples to fresh produce, you can stock up without breaking the bank.

They also have an extensive bulk bin section, making it easy to sample a new product without buying the full-sized product. (Sidenote: Don’t you hate it when you buy an expensive ingredient for a new recipe, only for it to collect dust in your pantry and you don’t even like the recipe)?  You can find items such as coffee, nuts, seeds, flours, spices and so much more in the bulk bin section.

But what really sets Sprouts apart is their diverse selection. While budget-friendly options are plentiful, they also cater to those seeking premium and specialty products. Whether you're after black rice, artisanal cheeses, or that hard-to-find superfood, Sprouts has got you covered. I was even able to find the fruit, rambutan, which is featured in my ABC book about fruits and vegetables from around the world! This store is the ultimate one stop shop for all of your grocery needs.

As a registered dietitian passionate about helping people make informed food choices, I'm excited about the possibilities this new store brings to our community. It's a place where nutrition and affordability can go hand in hand, making it easier for everyone to nourish themselves in a fun and inexpensive manner.

Have you visited the new Sprouts yet? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
